This photograph is an example of the composition of line of sight, as there are several lines leading into the picture. What makes this picture effective is that the sun sines behind the fence so you can see the shadow lines.

This is an effective photograph of  a pattern. The position of the camera show the stairs at a straight angle, and is a plain shot of and undisturbed, yet imperfect staircase. This photograph could be a better one without the the combination of the shadow and the glare of the flash
